Santiago.- The typical merengue player Christopher Reyes, known artistically as La Fiera Típica, presented this Wednesday “Viento, licor y sal”, his first album made up entirely of unreleased songs, a production with which he seeks to strengthen his artistic proposal and contribute new sounds to the typical Dominican merengue.
The album brings together 12 innovador compositionsseveral of them written by the performer himself, who is committed to a repertoire inspired by his experiences, emotions and personal experiences, with the aim of offering a fresh proposal without losing the essence of the genre.
As part of the launch, the artist released the single “Wind, lemon and salt”, also by him, a song that fuses typical merengue with elements of urban music, betting on a contemporary style aimed at both traditional audiences and new generations.

The official video clip was produced by José López and his team, using the beaches of the province of Montecristi and the Coco Mar facilities as settings. The audiovisual piece was presented during the official launch event held in the bar of the Gran Teatro del Cibao, in Santiago.
With this production, La Fiera Típica seeks to expand its reach within the music industry and consolidate a renewed proposal based on creativity, interpretive quality and the evolution of typical merengue.
The artistic entrepreneur and manager of the performer, Manny Rodríguez, reported that “Viento, licor y sal” is now available on the main digital platforms, highlighting that the project represents an important step in the artist's commitment to innovation and the projection of the typical Dominican merengue.
